My Everyday Busy Uni Girl Routine

Hello blog fam! Today is all about my daily routines. What do I get myself involved in on a daily basis? Haha, Nothing fun! Actually In uni, daily life can be a little bitty boring though. I know mine is😂 I was initially going to write on a day in my life as a student in the university but then I realized I do the same or almost the same activities everyday, so why not just turn it around and generalize the topic as my daily routine. Ha ha.

So, as you might or might not know I’m in my final year in medical school. So excited! About to leave, about to graduate! So my daily life is not the most fun haha lots of classes and mostly reading but I like to switch it up sometimes. Hence why I have put together my activities on a daily basis. Read on to find out.

IN THE MORNING:

My day starts at 7:00 am when my alarm rings annoyingly, waking me up rudely but ofcourse I press the snooze button for another 30 minutes😁 before I fully wake up. At 7:30 am, I say my morning prayers (very important) for about 10 minutes, stay on my phone abit, afterwards I get up to go on my early morning toilet duties he he. After finishing up in the toilet, it’s most definitely 8:00 am already.

So I hop into the shower for a lengthy shower😂. Well not so lengthy, just a little longer than most people would. Just a little over 10 minutes. After my shower, I hop back to my room to get ready for the day.

As it’s so cold now, I have to put on mostly warm clothes so I don’t become susceptible to cold. I put on a little bit of makeup, moisturize my skin properly ( if not, I would be returning home with my skin looking like snow white😂), get my bag ready and leave home. Recently I moved into a new apartment, so my new home allows me to waste more time because of its transportable routes. I walk literally 30 seconds to the bus station, get on the bus and off to school I go.

Couple of hours later, I arrive at my class, sit and endure about three long hours of lectures and practical classes. At about 13:30 pm, I finish with my class and I’m free for the day.

IN THE AFTERNOON:

After class, I either go home to relax and eat lunch or I go on a random outing with my friends. But most times, you’ll find me at home since it’s so cold nowadays.

At about 3:30 pm, relaxation time is up! It’s then time to go make some money, well.. It’s time to go to work. Since I work so far away from home I have to leave home early ofcourse, so as not to be late. If you were wondering what I do for extra cash.. Well, I’m an English kindergarten teacher.

IN THE EVENING:

I arrive at my job most times too early, about 20 or 30 minutes early. Why does this happen? I never know, as when I try to arrive on time I always get to work late and when I try to be early. I arrive too early ( does this happen to anyone apart from me?) So anyways, I get to work, Take about 2-3 classes, sometimes four my job requires me speaking and playing a lot ( I love my job but can’t stand it sometimes😂).

After some few hours, work is over and it’s time to take myself home. I take two buses home, traffic and all but I get home safe anyways. I get inside my apartment at about 8:30 – 9:00 pm, throw my bags away and toss away my jacket, then get in the shower for a well deserved hot water bath.

Afterwards, I go ahead to plan and prepare my dinner, put on the television while my food cooks. When it’s done, I eat and later lay in bed studying for the next day.

After I’m done preparing for my next class, I read other random materials like blog posts, examination questions and then also ponder on blog topics. Most times, I don’t finish studying these other materials as I always fall asleep while casually reading.

And that basically concludes my daily morning, afternoon and evening routines. Very straightforward and quite boring😂
